Puppuccino, But Make It Healthy.

Want to treat your pup to something special? Try our Pup-friendly Pumpkin Spice Latte! So much more fun than whipped cream in a cup... at least Stella thinks so!

I use goats milk instead of cows milk because Stella doesn't tolerate cows milk products very well. If your pup does, feel free to use that instead! We like goats milk because it is naturally homogenized, aids in her digestion, is full of beneficial enzymes, and has loads of beneficial fats. Try it out on your pup!

We use Redwood Hill brand goat milk kefir, and we can almost always find them at our local Safeway. We got our canned goat milk off of Amazon.

As always, consult your vet before adding new foods to your dog's diet.

Here's how to make our Pumpkin Puppuccino:

Ingredients:

Pumpkin Puree

Plain Goat Milk Kefir or Yogurt

Goat Milk

Cinnamon

Turmeric

1 Pumpkin Spice Biscuit from Broken Bone Bakery

Tools You Will Need:

Blender or Food Processor

Microwave-safe jar and a lid

Cute Serving Cup

1. Make the Puppuccino

Mix 2 tbsp Pumpkin Puree with 1/2 cup goat milk Kefir into a high velocity blender or food processor. Add a dash of turmeric for extra orange color, and blend the mixture on high for 30 seconds.

2. Make the Whipped Topping

Microwave 1/4 cup goats milk in the jar for 30-45 seconds. Place the jar on the lid, and shake vigorously for about a minute, or until milk has thickened and is nice and frothy. The milk should cool down considerable after shaking, and will cool drastically once you add it to the kefir mix.

I don't have a milk frother, but if you do, feel free to use one at this time!

3. Decorate!

Spoon the frothed milk onto the Puppuccino mix, and top with a light dusting of cinnamon. Top with a Broken Bone Bakery biscuit, and serve!
